Can I have my burguer, please?

You may wonder the reason of the name of this post, but after a really serious blog -HERE- I thought it would be better if I posted something less tragic, like a funny story.
First, Let's talk about burguers; To start they're not my first choice when it comes to culinary delights and second if I want to eat some, I don't buy them, I make them at home (is cheaper & healthier), so in perspective it was really weird of me to ask (beg) my husband for a regular McDonalds burguer at the end of my pregnancy. This was the only thing I was craving at this point, but for some reason every time I wanted to eat one I couldn't buy it (The store was closed, I didn't have a car to drive there, I was to tired to go, etc) It seem like forver, until one day my hubby came early from work and took me to McDonalds drive thru and bouhgt me one single burguer, no fries, no soda just my little "precious" burguer. Finally it was on my hands! It was a achievement but just when I arrived home I felt something runing down my legs. "My water just broke!" I thought. I looked down and there was water. I just stood there with my burguer in one hand and my hearth in the other. My hubby looked at me and I said: "Oh no! My water just broke! Now I can't eat my burguer!" (You're not supposed to eat something during labor) "Are you sure?" He asked me but I wasn't sure of it because there wasn't enough water coming out. "Go ahead and eat the burguer if you want" I told him in a playful way
I rushed upstairs and called my OB to find out it was just pee (LOL) It only took me 1min but when I went down to kitchen the burguer was GONE!!! I was really mad/sad with my husband because I waited so long for this and we couldn't go buy one more at that time; He promissed me to buy me another one the next day.
The next day at 7pm he arrived at home as he promissed with my new brand burguer to only find out I was in labor and this time was for real!
In conclusion, I NEVER HAD MY BURGUER! Oh well, at least I got a pretty funny story to tell, huh?
So now, Can I have my burguer, please?

My Third Trimester

(My milestone from 5 1/2 months to 8 1/2 months)

SYMPTOMS & OTHER DISCOMFORTS

This is when everything went crazy. As the pregnancy was coming to the end I felt more and more unconfortable; The main reason was that my belly started to grow sooo fast that within a couple of weeks I was 50% bigger and thats when my ciatica started to bothering me soo much. Also heatburns at the middle of the night came back so I was really tired all the time.
At the begining of my 8th month I got really sick, the flu was killing me that I couldn't even get up from my bed for a week or so...it was hell but then I got a bust of energy that I started to nest. As some of you may know by this time I started to moving in to my new home so I was really busy all the time moving around stuff and going back and forth from home to home; It was healthy but at the end of the day I was sooo exhausted that only a hot shower helped to calm my soreness.

BABY SHOWER PLANNINGS

Starting this trimester everything was about the baby shower and the planning of it. My mom, my mother-in-law and I did everything and I couldn't be more happy for it.
I was lucky because I had two baby showers; The first one was in a really beautiful garden with the theme of a french tea brunch and the second one was more an intimte family baby shower, they were more than I expected to be and Im beyond grateful for everything my mom and my mother-in-law did for me and my baby and for the people (family members & friends) that showed up, I got you in a really special place in my hearth. (Also thank you for all the beautiful things you'll bought for my baby girl)

THE LAST MONTH

The last month was more a waiting game. A couple of times I thought I was in labor but they were only braxton hicks that were getting more intense as the baby's head was putting in position. I was  so heavy that I really wanted to do nothing but eating and watching movies all day, and so I did LOL
My mom did everything to take me away from the couch, she even took me to the mall a few times to walk around but all I wanted was to lay down...

My First Trimester

You know how everybody says that pregnancy is amazing and you get a magical glow with it? Well, I call it bullshit! Don't get me wrong at some point all the problems goes away and maybe you can feel that glow flow. Thank God I never experienced morning sickness but my stomach was killing me...literally. A couple of times I rushed into the emergency room because I couldn't deal with the pain; The thing is that I always suffered from gastrointestinal problems and with the pregnancy they became worst.
The first month: Actually you don't feel anything until you miss your period, it can be right away or it can start one week before/later; Thats because a pregnancy calendar starts at the first day of your last period (in my case was September 29, 2012).
The second month: Because I decide to wait until I passed the 12 weeks mark* (except for my husband and my ob, of course) to tell everyone I was suffering in silence. My mom insisted that I was dying or something and I didn't want to tell her LOL She almost made me go to a specialist in the other side of the contry but I kept delying the trip.
Another thing that made this month the worst month of my pregnancy was that my husband's boss decided to change him to another work place and since then he has to travel back and forth every two days (sad face).
The third month: At the beggining of the third month I was still feeling like crap and I wanted to died (seriously, I was feeling that bad) The feeling of having an stomach infection 24/7 is all I can compare with the crazyness of the first trimester.
There's a lot of things that people don't tell you about pregnancy and its sympthoms, most women think that dizzyness and vomiting are the worst of them (or at least I think so) but we couldn't be more wrong! Trust me there's a lot of other things that you can hate having for months, but we'll talk about later in other post.
In conclusion, Everything during the first trimester sucks!
